We had the pleasure of working with Lisa Regan at McSwiggans and her acute understanding of the media landscape, utmost professionalism and can-do attitude was a huge asset to the business. She hugely helped us to establish ourselves both locally and nationally within the Irish media.
We had previously seen Lisa in action, so she was our first choice as MC for our recent ENTERPRISING23 event – and we knew immediately we were in good hands.
From the outset Lisa grasped our vision and goals for ENTERPRISING23 and became an invaluable member of the organising team. Lisa did her homework and attended briefing sessions with panellists and participants in advance of the event, offering constructive advice and suggestions on format and tone.
On the day itself, Lisa skilfully guided the participants and contributors through the proceedings – reading the room and injecting both humour and a firm hand when required. Lisa is a master of her craft and a pleasure to work with – make her your first choice too.
Lisa was a superb addition to the Macnas team during my tenure supporting the delivery of key projects, parades and spectacles locally ,nationally & internationally- , engaging new audiences and hugely increasing the company’s profile across all media.
An amazing addition to any project
Noeline Kavanagh former Artistic Director of Macnas for 14 years
Building our community within and outside the University of Galway has been priority for IdeasLab over the past 12months. Lisa has supported us in understanding how important our mission, vison and communications are in this process. Understanding these elements from the unit perspective but also how our personal profiles impact on our community has been insightful. Lisa has successfully helped us grow and connect with a broad community in Galway city and beyond and we are now equipped to nurture and grow this community even further in the next 12 months.
Lisa Regan recently MC’d our CreateHER finale in the Druid Theatre in Galway city. Her commitment to the event from the outset was evident and she supported us in the venue selection to ensure the right atmosphere, worked with us on running order, theme and stage set up. Lisa captured the essence and feel of the event we were trying hold. Through her research, thoughtful questions and inclusive style she brought our vision to life, for what was a night us and the audience will remember for a long time. Although Lisa had one role on the night she gave so much more to the entire event than we could have asked for.
‘Lisa delivered a workshop on effective communication to our Youth Advocates (YAs). Lisa has worked with Jigsaw in the past, and having recruited some new YAs we wanted them to have the Lisa experience! Our YAs are working on a number of projects and Lisa gave really good advice on interviewing techniques, delivering a radio show and using social media effectively. She really highlighted the importance of relationship building ,and how when it comes down to it each of us just wants to be seen, heard and validated. Lisa practices what she preaches. She tuned into the needs of the group and was a knowledgeable, engaging and funny facilitator. I would highly recommend her but most importantly the YAs loved it! A little snippet of what they had to say;
‘She is incredibly passionate about what she does and I learnt so much from the training!’
‘She brought a really great energy to the room and lots of great lessons on communication’
Laura Herlihy, Youth and Community Engagement Worker with Jigsaw Galway
“Working with Lisa is and was an absolute pleasure. When launching a business there are so many different things at play that you need someone who can make things happen and take control of a situation. When it comes to PR, that is Lisa! She helped steady the ship and went beyond expectations in assisting us in launching Slow Cabins. Many thanks!”

‘Lisa helped our team to get a much better grasp of how to promote our work to the public but also the non-profit organisations that we support. She has a straight up, no messing approach that made it easy for us to quickly get to the heart of the matter and figure solutions and ideas’
Lisa mentored me as part of a business start-up programme in NUIG. She brings an electric energy to every room she walks in. She is such a great person to bounce ideas off. Equally to hype you up and put you straight!! I was very lucky to work with her!! Cian Coyne Student at University of Galway, IdeasLab member and Scrunch Up Founder.
We have worked with Lisa in the past in a training capacity (side note: she’s an incredible woman to facilitate a group of young people) but this summer we were delighted to work again with Lisa when she moderated a panel discussion on youth mental health as part of the Galway International Arts Festival, in conjunction with Galway Community Circus & the Finnish Institute in the UK & Ireland
The young people involved have said that they felt so comfortable with Lisa’s approach as a moderator and as an audience member I can tell you that she’s second to none. She’s kind, compassionate and yet she not afraid to ask difficult questions. She makes sure to make all participants feel involved, valued and most importantly heard. And did I mention she’s a gas woman?! We’re so, so glad that Lisa was free to lead this discussion, it was all the better for her involvement.
Aoife Guilfoyle Youth and Community Engagement Worker Jigsaw Galway,
Its always works better when you get to get to work with someone who is on the same page as you. We worked with Lisa when organising our Beach Clean campaign that run along the Wild Atlantic Way. Lisa got what we wanted to do and how needed to go about communicating it. A chat down the west end with Tobes to let her know our POA and boom, we had nationwide and local features on radio and press I didn’t even know existed.
“Lisa did a wonderful job hosting the GTI Fashion event! Her knowledge of Sustainability in Fashion theme made her the perfect choice. Her ability to know her audience as well as do her homework on the guest speakers made it an incredibly enjoyable and beneficial night for both the students and the audience. Her personality and professionalism were the perfect combination for such an occasion”.
