Galway Food Tours and McCambridges launch urban gourmet picnic service

Galway Food Tours Sheena Dignam has teamed up with the food specialists McCambridges to launch The Galway Gourmet Picnic. McCambridges is a name that is synonymous with Galway and great food in the west, the link up with Galway Food Tours on gourmet hampers means that tourists and Galwegians get a chance to eat that picnic hamper that you always intend making but end up with soggy sandwiches and a bag of crisps.

The picnic baskets offerings include a nod to Irish Meat and Cheese with a Feast For two people including a selection of Irish Meats (McGeogh’s Air Dried Lamb, McCambridges Roast Ham, Fingals Chorizo) with Irish Cheeses (Killeen Goat, Fenugreek, Young Buck Blue Cheese), bottles of Juicy Lucy Waters, a bottle of Wine Red or White all for €48.

The Galway Spread basket priced at €55 for two people is a picnic basket that you would eat happily in your car on a rainy day!
